History
In December of 2009 a concerned group of people met for the purpose of beginning a new work. This work was not birthed out of anger, frustration, or grief; but rather it was birthed in a passion to stop "playing" church and to actually "be" the church. The prayer and desire was to start a vibrant, healthy, New Testament Church in the North Etowah (Coats Bend) area. Out of that meeting, New Faith Community Church (NFCC) was formed.
NFCC has set as it's goal to be a Great Commission Church that operates under the guiding principle of the Great Commandment (Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 22:34-40). In other words, we desire to be a church that's primary function is to "Go and Show the love of God". That is our mission. That is our purpose. It is who we are. It will not change. Our leadership may change, our location may change, and our methods may change, but the mission of New Faith Community Church will remain steadfast: "Go and Show the love of God". We will strive to do that by showing our love for God in praise and worship and through Christian fellowship. We will work to show God's love and our love for others by sharing the Gospel message, ministering to the needs of people, and preaching and teaching with conviction the inerrant, written word of God. We will build on a strong foundation (Matthew 16:18).
As we continue to write our history we look to the future with anticipation. We believe God is going to do great things and we want to be a part of a His plan for our area. We want you to come and be a part of His plan too within the fellowship of our loving church family. Come and join us as we impact this area for God's Kingdom by going and showing His amazing love!
